Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
and lean not on your own understanding.
(Proverbs 3:5)

"Trust in the LORD"

God has made Himself known to us. He has revealed His wisdom to us in His Word. His desire is that we trust His Word. He "desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the Truth" (1 Timothy 2:4).

Coming to the knowledge of the Truth means having faith in Jesus Christ, who is "the Way, the Truth and the Life" (John 14:6). Lean upon Him in everything and you will never be disgraced.

Leaning on ourselves, we search aimlessly for what we do not have. Leaning on Him, we find ourselves. We find ourselves in His love and care. We find ourselves at peace with Him through His work for us on the Cross. Amen.
