70 - Flying with the Music... with Kym Purling
"The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why." – Mark Twain
Our special Guest this week does not know the day he was born… But he does know why! Found abandoned at just a few days old, Kym Purling’s first journey to a hospital in War-torn Saigon in 1972 continued to two separate orphanages before a very special family in Adelaide made the decision to adopt him and provide an “Australian Journey”. It’s a story about love, family and an opportunity to develop his musical gift; one that has taken Kym to more than 140 Countries playing to intimate audiences as well as festival crowds totaling more than 85,000. This is a story of hope. Of providing an opportunity for a fulfilled life… ultimately this is the story of spreading your wings and letting your talent soar!
