Bears On Tap: Episode 92 - Bears Lose A Nail-Biter (Bears/Saints Breakdown)

Well, the Bears ultimately lost to the Saints today, but they did play well enough to win. They came out of the gate hot and took an early lead but a series of 4 drives between the end of the first half and the beginning of the second half that helped the Saints take the momentum. In the past, we’ve seen a team like New Orleans run away with a game like that but the Bears buckled down and had a shot in overtime. The offensive showing wasn’t spectacular but Matt Nagy did stress the running game and David Montgomery had a season-high total in yardage and carries. At times the running game looked stagnant but Matt Nagy did try some different things to get David Montgomery the ball in space.
