Hope of the Nations

For many first-century Jews, being expected to look to a Sabbath-breaking, mercy-showing rabbi as King seemed absurd. Their hope was in their law, their land, and their leaders. But scripture reminds us that the “hope of the nations” is first and foremost in Jesus.
