This was my presentation on Street Epistemology called "The Atheist Disconnect: Street Epistemology and Counter-Apologetics" hosted by the Atheist Community of Austin (AA) in Austin, Texas. The discussion took place at the Austin History Center on June 12, 2016 in front of a group of approximately 60 people.
Hosts of the 'The Atheist Experience' broadcast were also in the audience, including Matt Dillahunty, Russell Glasser, Don Baker, Lynnea Glasser, and Phil Session.
My talk was originally titled "A Different Approach: Street Epistemology", but I decided to change it for the video because I
realized after giving the talk that the new title would be more
appropriate (and interesting).
I'd like to thank everyone who worked to help make my talk happen,
including Steve Bratteng, Phil Session, Matt Dillahunty, and Julian Franklin.
This talk is dedicated to Mary "Kat" Katherine Griffin, a young woman who was a member of our local Secular Student Alliance (SSA) that was killed in a car accident a few days before my talk. Kat was interested in Street Epistemology and even joined me once to practice the approach on her campus. She was a kind person, eager to help move atheism
forward, and will be missed.
I've written my thoughts about my talk to the ACA and my later appearance on the 'The Atheist Experience' on my public Facebook Page:

Mistakes:
I should have used the word "apathetic" instead of "ambivalent".
