Americans are facing some very tough choices as the coronavirus surges just before the Thanksgiving holiday. Officials in 28 states have tightened restrictions over the last two weeks. During that period, the U.S. has recorded more than 100,000 new cases a day for 14 days in a row. Coronavirus cases at nursing homes are also spiking again. President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris are due to get a national security briefing today. This is not the presidential daily briefing; they are being denied that because President Trump has not conceded. The president has just nine weeks left in his term, and he's expected to sharply cut U.S. troop strength in Afghanistan and Iraq. Three police officers near San Antonio are being investigated for the violent arrest of a black teenager right outside his front door.
