Charlene Winfred is a self-titled photographic nomad, a 'permanent in-betweener.' Over the next few weeks we’ll talk at length about being this traveling adventurist with a camera. Today we start with her beginnings, her time spent in Iraq and shooting street in her home country, Singapore. Charlene's also a strong advocate of street shooter collectives for women and talks of how initially 'others' tried to dissuade her from becoming a professional photographer.
