Nick Wasiliev was raised in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales. Growing up in a family of journalists and authors, he began writing at the age of three, and wrote his first book at the age of seven. He has since become a sports, music and arts journalist, being published in Green and Gold Rugby, Rugby.com.au, Music Feeds, Good Intent, Hunter and Bligh and Music Insight. He also had short stories published in The Quarry. When Men Cry is his debut novel.
Ahead of the release of 'When Men Cry', Olivia and Ben sat down with Nick to discuss the book, pulling from his uni surroundings, teaming up with charity, his unique rise in the industry and advice to fellow aspiring authors, and more.
