TASMANIA'S HISTORIC RICHMOND & OLD HOBART TOWN
Send us a text
This week we revisit some of the incredible destinations and experiences we enjoyed in Tasmania, prior to lockdown and social distancing restrictions coming into play.
We reminisce about our time spent exploring the beautiful historical village of Richmond, in the state’s South, with highlights including the Old Hobart Town model village, Australia’s oldest bridge still in use (built in 1823), and Australia’s oldest gaol. Next we travel to the spectacular Tasman Peninsula, home to fascinating penal historical sites, and natural wonders such as the rare and mysterious tessellated pavement, Tasman arch and devil’s kitchen.
