Humans are motivated to act based on their emotions. We make decisions largely based on our emotions. What we eat, what we do, etc. are all determined by how we feel. Humans have an innate desire to seek pleasure, avoid pain and conserve energy.
What this means is your actions are not the root cause of your weight loss results. Your actions are the effect of your preceding thoughts and feelings.
This is a main reason diets fail. Diets focus on your actions. Actions are a piece of the puzzle but only a small piece of the puzzle. Until you change your thinking, your results will not change long term.
