Pancreatic Cancer Awareness

With the recent deaths of Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Alex Trebek, pancreatic cancer has once again received international attention. As the second leading cause of adult cancer death in the state of Wisconsin behind just lung cancer, pancreatic cancer is undoubtedly a very important topic for all of you. We have an all-star panel of experts for you this Saturday – Drs. Susan Tsai and Mandana Kamgar from the Medical College of Wisconsin and Dr. Dan Laheru from Johns Hopkins University. We had scheduled Dr. Laheru in the past, pre-COVID – before we became so good at long-distance radio – and we are really thrilled to have him join us for this edition of The Word on Medicine.
