Ep. 37 - Kathryn Geouge - "What We Do for Others"
Great episode here with Kathryn Geouge, the head softball coach at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida. Kathryn gets at the heart of what it means to be a servant-leader in her quote by Albert Pine - "What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others and the world remains and is immortal."
Oh my! I had never heard that quote before, yet it has now vaulted WAY up the list for me of favorite quotes. It says so much about what our role as leaders and members of teams and society is, and it is a quote that we all need to take to heart. Thanks so much to Kathryn for introducing that quote to us and for her incredible insight and stories in helping to explain it.
