One of the most common mental blocks I run into as a trainer is maintaining realistic expectations when I’m working with multiple horses. After almost 40 years as a professional trainer, I’ve gotten to the point where I feel like I have a solid, established training program that should work the same for every horse. But, that is simply an unrealistic expectation.
