The U Sports Women's Basketball Spotlight Series wraps up in Quebec, as Concordia Stingers Women's Basketball Head Coach Tenicha Gittens joins the Four Quarters Podcast, powered by Four Quarters Media!  In Part Three of this three-part series, Coach Gittens and host Tyler Bennett discuss anything and everything around Tenicha's basketball coaching career.  The episode kicks off with a discussion around Time Out Talks, the Black Canadian Coaches Association, BIPOC representation, and how important it is to keep the conversation going around the fight for racial equality.  Coach Gittens explains how Time Out Talks got started, the platform it provides student-athletes, and the importance of checking in and 'listening vs. hearing' someone.  From there, Coach Gittens details her coaching journey and how she ended up back in Montreal as the Head Coach of the Stingers when she was close to stepping away from coaching altogether and returning to the corporate world.  Coach Gittens also gives her thoughts on how we can better grow our game in Canada.  The Spotlight Series is designed to showcase each and every league in some way, and the U Sports Women's Basketball Spotlight Series showcases three of the four U Sports leagues from across Canada.  (MUSIC: bensound.com)
