Graham Carter - building growth & resilience through action
Running 100 miles non-stop is an incomprehensible feat for most – the thought of running four marathons back to back simply outside the remit of most people’s imagination. Even if you haven’t run a marathon, it’s easy to imagine the hardship – let alone the training required – because we can all relate to what running three, six or ten miles feels like. 26, we know, must be tough.
But our guest on the 33Fuel podcast this week blows preconceptions out the water. A self-proclaimed ‘ordinary man’, Graham Carter ran four 100 mile runs with five months. One 100-miler is incomprehensible, but to recover and find the motivation and physical ability to complete three more in such a short space of time is beyond belief.
Graham delves into the many challenges not only of completing this challenge, but also how life’s difficulties have shaped and sculpted the man he is today. Enjoy!
