This week on The Good Glow podcast I speak to Rosie Connolly. It's been quite the few weeks for Rosie after she found a lump in her breast in October. Rosie's mind went to the worst place as her mum and nana both had breast cancer. After an agonising couple of weeks waiting for the results, she was told that her lump was not cancerous. Rosie used her platform to encourage women to check themselves and today opens up about what that time was like.
Rosie's story is really important. It's important for us to know that not all lumps are cancerous, that we need to know what our normal is when it comes to our bodies and most importantly that you shouldn't be afraid to check yourself. Rosie knows she's incredibly lucky and me too and my thoughts this week are with anyone who is having a tough time or waiting for results this week. Rosie also speaks to me about her amazing fundraiser for Crumlin and Temple Street hospitals and her new brand 4thARQ. she tells me all about the reason behind its name and all the hard work she's put into it this year.
(Always contact your GP if you find a lump in your breast or have any signs of breast cancer)
