Make Marketing Suck Less for Expertise-Driven Solo Businesses

When was the last time you sat down and asked yourself this very question, or have you ever asked the question? What does my business need? And the reason I'm bringing this up is because this is the question that I always pose to my clients when we’re wrapping up their messaging.
They have this new, shiny message. They have this new client journey. They have all these content ideas. They're raring to go. They get stuck and they don't know how to put it out there. And the question I always ask them, “Well, tell me -- what does your business need?” And it's so easy to be flippant and just think, “Oh, well, my business needs sales. It always needs sales and money,” but does it really? I also think this is a perfect question to start thinking about what's next in our business because it is the season.
So today on the pod, we are going to talk about the three needs every business has because your business is actually pretty basic when it comes to its wants and its needs. And I also want to start by posing another question that you can ask yourself to help you ease into 2021. So let's do this.
