Jessica McGawley shares on Education of Next Gen should happen earlier, and why?
About: Jessica is the Principal and Founder of Dallington Associates. She is the port of call for all parents and students, guiding them throughout the entire process from relocation through to graduation and beyond.
Jessica is experienced in the challenges and opportunities faced by international students. Prior to setting up Dallington, she spent seven years as the head of operations for a family office consultancy, working with families from all over the globe, preparing their next generation for wealth and legacy transition through bespoke planning and mentorship. During this time, she witnessed first-hand the difficult position many parents finds themselves in when their children are being educated so far away and saw the need for the “home away from home”.
Jessica has an undergraduate degree from SOAS, a postgraduate foundation in Counselling and Psychotherapy and a Masters in Psychodynamic and Systemic Consulting Psychology from the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust. The youngest ever board member of the United Nations Women London, she proudly set up its first mentoring scheme. She is currently a Trustee of the Cassandra Learning Centre, a charity that focuses on supporting victims of domestic abuse. She is also a Governor of The Mossbourne Victoria Park Academy.
