Brian Doerksen is a Canadian singer/songwriter, worship leader, author and pastor. He is best known for his songs “Come, Now is the Time to Worship” and “Refiner’s Fire” which have been sung in churches internationally. He has been making music for 30 years, and has won more awards in both the United States and Canada than can be counted on all his fingers and toes. Brian has been married to his high school sweetheart, Joyce, for over 35 years and they have 4 daughters and 2 sons.
In this episode, Brian shares his journey of faith, songwriting and becoming a worship leader with our host Adam Russell. Brian’s story is a beautiful example of a life marked by intimacy with the Father, and this grounding conversation will reorient our hearts toward vulnerability and authenticity before God and each other in worship.
