Seeking? no, EXPECTING FRUIT. Luke 13:7 (Episode #270)

We are SUPPOSED to be fruitful as people of God.
The Lord seeks fruit. 
The passage, IMHO is even stronger than that.  I think it says the Lord EXPECTS fruit.

 Here the tree has some agency in the production of fruit.  You remember Paul's teaching, "I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth" in 1 Cor 3:6. Work hard with your gift in the church and watch God expand and utilize it. All real growth is from the Lord...as accomplished by the sweat and tears of his people.  Just ask your pastor how he has labored over you and your congregation.

The prominent question today for you:
What gift has the Lord given me for the church?  (nothing is not a real answer)
How can I dial that gift up zealously? (Kick it up a notch)
How can I do it today? (or shall we presume on the Lord's patience yet another day?)
