Moment of Meditation: Two Masters (Matthew 6:24)
"No one can serve two masters,
for either he will hate the one and love the other,
or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other.
You cannot serve God and money."
(Matthew 6:24)
It's hard for two people to sit in a chair with arms. Sitting on one another's lap makes the situation more uncomfortable. There is only room for one to sit comfortably.
The tightest chair is the throne of your heart. There is truly only room for one in the chair. Trying to fit multiple things in that chair becomes more of a juggling act than actually accomplishing anything. Those in the chair will battle for who actually gets to sit in the chair. In that battle, you lose.
You win when you devote yourself to God and love Him. You win when God sits on your heart's throne. You win when God is your chief priority. Amen.
