Finally… here to usher in a revival of beauty AND comfort is ‘new luxury’ footwear designer Sarah Flint. And I’m so glad to discover her line.

Frustrated by the predictability of expensive yet uncomfortable designer shoes sitting unworn in the back of her closet, Sarah became determined to make stylish functionality attainable for ‘real life’ women. Designed with feminine lifestyles (and foot anatomy) in mind, Sarah’s self-named shoe line is created with the finest materials and craftsmanship Italy has to offer.

And as much as I love Sarah’s mission to design gorgeous heels and flats with intention (rather than an afterthought, like many high-end designers), it’s her savvy business sense that I find most intriguing…

Sarah Flint amassed a nearly cult online and celebrity following in the brand’s early years—and garnered a greater audience than expected, considering its small retail presence.
