Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining in this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.

Father God, in the name of Jesus. We honor you, and we give you glory and praise and we magnify your Holy name. God,  your word says that you will never leave us nor forsake us. Your word assures us that you're always with us. 

And God in the name of Jesus, we pray for those that are going into the holiday season and they are missing their loved ones and they are grieving this season because of the loss. And we pray, Oh God, in the name of Jesus, that you would comfort their hearts and their minds and their souls. And God in the name of Jesus, I pray for supernatural ability and the availability of your spirit that will cause them to find joy and a reason to celebrate even in the midst of trials.  Even in the midst of grief. We thank you, God, in the name of Jesus, that your power goes out to comfort the hearts and the minds of those that are grieving. And God, for those that are first time holidays, without their loved ones, you know them, you know, their hearts. I pray to God that you would fill the empty void in their hearts.

And they will know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you loved them. That you're with them and, Oh God, that you care. In Jesus' name. Give them that peace. That only comes from you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We give you glory for it. We give you praise that you are moving in a supernatural way, and you're comforting the hearts of all those with loss. In Jesus' name, we pray.  Amen.
