Chanman is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, and bandleader living and performing in Jackson Hole, Wyoming for over 20 years. He performs as the frontman/guitarist of the 9 piece roots reggae band Chanman Roots Band, and in the Tram Jam band. A perennial winner of the Best Musician of Jackson Hole Award, Chanman's music has appeared in ski movies including "Blinded by the White" and "Swift. Silent. Deep. The Story of the Jackson Hole Air Force”. Chanman has opened for The Wailers, Damion Marley, The Violent Femmes, Robert Cray, Leon Russell, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Greg Brown, The Skatalites, Los Lonely Boys, The Tamlins, and many others.
