Day 2 of 6 Days in the Home, Wolf Moon and Fasting
Six Days in the Home
Mon December 28 - Sun January 3, 2021
Why is it called the Wolf Moon? Different cultures have specific names for each of the full Moons throughout the year, and they often relate to what is happening in nature at that time. The Algonquin tribes of what is now the northern and eastern United States named this the Wolf Moon, from the packs of wolves that howled hungrily outside the villages amid the cold and deep snows of winter. Another name is the Ice Moon. By month the full Moon in December is called the Cold Moon.

USADA announces U.S. Olympian Brenda Martinez tested positive for banned substance hydrochlorothiazide in a September test. However, they determined it must "have been ingested by her without fault or negligence.” She will not face any suspension as a result.

B.A.A.
@BAA Due to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases in Massachusetts, we will not be able to confirm a fall @bostonmarathon date until early 2021. The B.A.A. will continue to work with city and state officials in preparation for a safe return to in-person racing in the fall.
The heart of a blue blue whale weighs 400lbs (181kg). It is 4ft (1.2m) wide and 5ft (1.5m) tall. Their aorta is 9 inches wide and you can hear their heartbeat from over 2 miles (3.2km) away. This all makes sense when you realize blue whales are the largest animals to have ever lived on the planet. Their tongues weight as much as an elephant.
A full grown adult blue whale weighs approximately 400,000lbs (181,437kg) and reaches an average length of 98ft (30m) with the longest ever recorded measuring 108ft (33m) long. Just for fun, picture a 10 story building, but its swimming sideways and wiping 40 million krill off the face of the planet PER DAY.
