Episode 18: 80s Music: The Soundtrack to Marc's Life Part One
In this episode, Marc and Kristina explore 80s music. We examine topics like: what makes 80s music sound so identifiably 80s; what does New Wave really mean; what are some of the 80s genres and which artists and songs fit into those genres. This was a hard episode for us to stay focused on the research because we are too close to the subject and that leads to some pretty serious digressions but we tried to keep on track. We will be creating a bonus episode that is less structured and chattier and allows Marc to talk all about his personal experiences, which is really all he wants to do.
