Word of the Week – Wood

Have you ever heard of a man named Cornelius Vanderbilt Wood? No? I hadn’t either. Then I did a little bit of research and found out some crazy things about this man and the history of the Walt Disney Company, especially when it comes to the history of Disneyland. Cornelius Vanderbilt Wood (or C.V. Wood) was instrumental in the construction of the world’s first theme park, Disneyland. So why haven’t you heard of him? I’ll explain all of that and more in this week’s Word of the Week.
