Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was one of the most successful films of all time. During its production, however, Walt Disney was ridiculed by much of the press and Hollywood insiders of the time. They thought no one would ever watch a full-length animated film. I’ll tell you why they were wrong and more on this week’s Word of the Week – Snow.
Walt Disney was a visionary who didn’t need anyone to believe in what he was doing. He proved this time and time again with his accomplishments; often he risked almost everything to make his dreams a reality. This week I’ll take a look back at the history and production of one of those great risks, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. I’ll also take a look at where Snow White can be found in Walt Disney World today.
