Episode 59 - Reese Roper

Today we are over the moon about our guest. We have Reese Roper of ska band Five Iron Frenzy. We spent our teenage years listening to Five Iron Frenzy. Five Iron has recently launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund their new record. Go donate! We talk about life in the band, his love for Native American history, his solo stuff, his obsession with prime numbers, the modern church, and more. Joey and Reese also discuss football to Steven's dismay. Steven also tries to get him to sh*t on Joey's hair washing habits. Steven's son Jude calls in because Five Iron is his favorite band and he loves Reese. Jude also tells Reese a joke.

Tonight, because we are nostalgic, we are drinking George Dickel No. 12 Tennessee Whiskey. Joey used to take this into high school basketball games, mixed with Coke, and since we listened to Five Iron in high school, we married the two things because, why not. It is a good inexpensive Tennessee Whiskey.
