Episode 1 - New Podcast, New Players, and Where to Start

Joe and John tackle introducing listeners to two of the most well known games in wargaming. With the release of a new Warhammer 40K edition, a drop of new releases overhauling Age of Sigmar, and many people having more indoors downtime than usual, the stage is set for new people to get into the hobby space who may have never heard of it before. So the boys thought that they'd start this podcast at the very beginning of where all budding hobbyists find themselves when looking at their first models; fantasy or sci-fi? And what exactly are both about?

In addition to being the first episode of our podcast it is also the start of our Introduction to Wargaming series, which will (hopefully) walk new players through the process of getting into this incredible hobby. Beginning here with the vaguest of overviews we will move through what type of armies exist, how to pick one that works for you, build a list, and even find your first game! It's going to be a great ride and we hope you enjoy.
