Marriage is difficult. Even if you’re following Christ, two sinners living together is bound to cause some problems.
And one of those problems is how much we take our cues about love and marriage from the culture around us rather than scripture. If we’re really honest with ourselves about what love truly is, the answer is going to be in contradiction to our modern western culture.
That said, “falling out of love” is a very common, nearly universal, experience. So, the question becomes, what then? When you fall out of love with your spouse, and you don’t feel the sparks anymore, what do you do?
This week, Peter, Aaron, and guest hosts Tabitha Griffith and Jimmy Trent discuss what love is, how it’s defined by scripture, and what to do when it feels hopeless.
“I think it comes down to your definition of love. [People] base it all on feelings. But if you’ve been in a relationship for a long time, you know there’s more to it than that. It doesn’t matter who you’re with.” ~ Tabitha Griffith
