Welcome back to the Sutta Meditation Series Podcast.
This is part of a 20-part session on How to meditate on the Vatthupama Sutta (MN7) - the Buddha's Discourse on the Simile of the Cloth. It was conducted on 29 December 2020 for families, adults, and children.

This episode takes a look into two teachings of the Buddha on what can be expected as the result of bad or unwholesome actions. The two suttas are Duccaritavipāka Sutta (AN8.40) and Cūḷakammavibhaṅga Sutta (MN135).
In the complete 20-part session we:
- study the words of the Buddha in the Vatthupama Sutta;
- discuss some of the benefits of learning this meditation;
- 'deep dive' into the 16 mental stains;
- meditate on each of the 16 mental stains (guidance provided) to directly experience the fruits of this teaching; and
- look into the Buddha's teachings on what to expect from bad actions
