Dr. Cornel West is professor of the Practice of Public Philosophy at Harvard and a professor emeritus at Princeton. He is the author of several bestselling books, including Democracy Matters, Race Matters and Black Prophetic Fire.

Dr. West reflects on what Trump’s fascist white supremacist coup attempt and assault on the Capitol Building reveals (even more) about how America is a sick society experiencing many catastrophes at the same time. West also shares what it means to prepare oneself to survive and triumph in a time of chaos, tumult, sickness, and struggle for a real democracy and humane society.
