No one likes to think they're racist, we shudder from this label and look down on people with discriminatory views. However, there are functions in our brain that quickly and automatically process people into categories and groups based on their appearances. This episode explores what those processes are, how they contribute to our misconceptions and stereotypes about entire groups of people, but also how we can start to undo and unlearn these processes.
