Some of last year’s issues rear their ugly heads in a 4-0 Opening Night loss to the Islanders, including lack of success in the faceoff circle and taking FAR too many penalties. Why benching K’Andre Miller for a large chunk of the game was a mistake. Rangers seem to lack fire, especially after Jordan Eberle’s collision with Igor Shesterkin.
