Cannibalism was once thought as a behavior only witnessed in conditions of extreme survival - a necessary tactic to outlast starvation or some other extreme environmental stressor. But as we have come to understand this behavior more…it appears that cannibalism is pretty damn common in animals, and maybe even in humans as well?
