Hi everyone

We hope you are continuing to keep your spirits as high as you can, during the lockdown. Like you, we hope it’s over soon.

We’ve reached a milestone this week, in that our podcast is a year old today and we’re super pleased about that.  We started the podcast just before the lockdown, not quite knowing how it would be received after lockdown started.  But looking at how much you engage with the podcast, it’s clear we had nothing to worry about.  So, on our first anniversary, we want to take this opportunity to thank you all for the support you have shown our small but mighty project.

In this week’s episode, we take a look at what can happen if you post religious comments in social media groups, which criticise your employer’s business.  The focus in the episode, is on the wrongly held belief that because your religion and belief is a protected characteristic under the Equality Act 2010 – that you are able to make religious-based comments freely, wherever you want, without any disciplinary measures being taken against you.
