Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining in this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.

Father God, in the name of Jesus, we honor you. We give you glory and praise. We worship your Holy name. You are our Lord and our God and our savior. We thank you for all of your blessings in our lives. For you have blessed us and you have kept us. And you have delivered us from the hands of evil and God.

We pray for unity and peace in our country today. And God, we pray that unity will start at the head of our government. We pray for president Biden God. I pray in the name of Jesus that you would touch their hearts and our minds. And that they would be open to your way of doing things.

Your way is a way of peace. Your way is a way of compassion, love, and harmony. I pray in the name of Jesus that you would surround them with wise men and women, men of counsel. that they will pour into them how to handle and how to go in and out before your people. They would seek you above all things that they were seeking your way. For God, there is a way that seems right to man, but the end thereof is destruction. So we pray that they would receive your way and your will. in everything that they do. That every policy that is made, that every law that is put in place will be governed by your will in Jesus' name. So, God, we thank you that you surrounding the head of our government, what powerful men and women that will instruct them in a way of righteousness and God, we thank you that it's moving in our cities and our towns and our states and Jesus name. For your word says sin is a reproach to any nation, but righteousness will exalt a nation. So we ask for righteousness to prevail today in Jesus' name and God, we thank you for it. We give you glory. We give you praise that it is so in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
