Welcome all to IS PHARMACOLOGY DIFFICULT Podcast! I am Dr Radhika Vijay.
What are the basic good things to know about buccal and rectal routes, what are the pros and cons, all these scintillating points will form head points to form discussion content for today !!
As we climb the ladder step by step by routes of drug administration, after oral, next step is sublingual or buccal. Then I will tell you minute difference between the two terms, though they are used interchangeably. Then I will abide by the ritual of counting rainbow colors as I highlight the advantages of this route, then disadvantages and finally the solid shining examples for this route of drug administration.
Next my final words for the day will be about Rectal route of drug administration. In this head, I will cover need of this route, its special features, its advantages, then its disadvantages, and finally as usual examples for this route of drug administration.
Today before I waive a final bye for today's episode, I will be sharing a blooper for you all, as my kid tried copying my podcasting skills and style, how much he succeeded in cute, imperfect, childish way , its worth listening as it will be so hilarious and make you giggle for a while.
