We are back with another moustachioed heavy hitter, that's right, we are honoring the comedic talent that is Eddie Murphy. Although my guest for the show, Trace Levos from the podcast Superhero Soup isn't a fan of Eddie, we both agree it's because he was born in the 90s and didn't get to enjoy Eddie Murphy's work back in the 80s. I picked 1983's Trading Places originally because Trace and I are similar but completely opposite in a lot of ways so I thought it be fun to discuss the movie together. But I sort of forgot about all the problematic stuff in the movie until I watched it again for this episode. All in all, I think I still had a great time with it.
Also, I didn't plan for all this stock market, hedgehog fund trading stuff to be going on with GameStop, so it's just sort of weird coincidence that this episode is being released around the same time.
