Ep. 85: Donald Trump's Political Cult Members Are Experiencing a Psychological Emergency

Dr. Justin Frank is the author of the book Donald Trump on the Couch.
He is a former clinical professor of psychiatry at the George Washington University Medical Center and a physician with more than 40 years of experience in psychoanalysis.
Dr. Frank cautions that Donald Trump may want to be the country’s shadow president but the more serious danger at present are his millions of cult members and the likes of Republicans such as Mitch McConnell, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Ted Cruz and others who will follow through on Trump’s campaign of American fascism and white right-wing Christian nationalism.
Dr. Frank also warns that Donald Trump’s political cult members are now experiencing a mass psychological emergency as shown by their coup attempt and attack on the Capitol and other escalating acts of political terrorism and violence around the country.
