151: Regulation and Standards with Jennifer Bryne, Chairperson of The Australian Society of Dermal Clinicians
The Australian Society of Dermal Clinicians was founded in 2000-2001 with the first graduates of the Bachelor of Health Science from Victoria University.
Since then, the Dermal Therapy industry has experienced dramatic growth with the increasing popularity of non-surgical cosmetic treatments and clinics offering dermal therapy procedures across Australia.
This continuing growth has highlighted the need for the ASDC to advocate for Dermal Clinicians nationally to maintain standards, integrity and education within the industry and promote evidence-based practice.
Today we talk to Chairperson, Jennifer Byrne about the role of the ASDC, benefits and how their pushing for regulation and standards in the professional aesthetic and beauty industry.
