Dr. Angela Potter is a women’s health naturopathic medicine doctor and leading expert in postpartum healing and recovery. After having her first child, she experienced the hardships that mothers frequently experience after giving birth. She was amazed at how much pressure is put on mothers and how little support is given for whole-body wellness in this really unique time in a woman's life. From there, she developed her postpartum wellness protocol that she uses with mothers nationally. Dr. Potter is a nutritionist as well as a doctor, and she practices in Portland, Oregon where she lives with her husband and two toddlers.
We are talking about the importance of allowing our bodies to have the time and the space to really develop and shift postpartum and the support you should have in order to do that.
