Jack Tessier lives and studies cryptids in Australia. He started the Australian Cryptozoology Research Organization and stu everything from Yowie's, Thylacine, Black Shucks to water cryptids....all reported in Australia. I focus on Yowie's in this episode with Jack. We talk about Jack's own possible sighting, various aggressive reports, hotspots in Australia, signs and sounds of the Yowie, and their history on the continent. (Jack has informed me the bird sounds during our recording, were the sometimes aggressive Magpies outside) :) Via Jack's website....a Yowie is "an Australian Aboriginal folklore myth in which the Aboriginal elders say that they are the protectors of the Bush, and that you're not to show harm to them or the bush, however they are believed to be half man, half ape-like creature that can go up to 8 and a half feet tall and they are believed to reside in the high mountain ranges in the Great Dividing Range."
Visit Jack Tessier on both his websites, International Cryptozoology and Australian Cryptozoology Research Organizaton.
