Professional Athletes are looked at by many as prime examples of how we (Average Joe) should train in order to become like said Athlete. But what we must understand, is that an Athlete trains very different than most think.
We see them on the pitch or in the Arena, competing, giving 110%, blood, sweat, tears. This is a mere fraction of an insight into what an Athlete's weekly routine is like.
We are also indoctrinated into a society that preaches a hard work ethic and if you aren't giving 110% intensity, if you are not giving everything you have, then it's worth nothing.
