Despite the systemic and institutional barriers around voting, Black Canadians have always pushed to ensure they could exercise their right. In order to have their voices heard fully though, they knew they needed to see people like them in public office. So, they broke barriers and entered the political arena. Today's episode highlights three Black Canadians who did just that.
