The night of December 28th, 1956 was expected to be a typical Friday night in Chicago. On that night, like most Friday and Saturday nights, Archer Avenue was a hot bed of activity. Movies theaters were packed, while teenage boys drove up and down the strip trying to pick up girls huddle on the frigid sidewalks of cities southwest side. But for two girls, what was supposed to be an exciting night watching a double feature of their favorite movie would lead to them laying in the snow off of a secluded rural road in Du Page County.
