There is no shortage of Black Canadian artists today and throughout history and it was actually really difficult to even feature just two of them for today's episode. I managed to make the tough decision and want to introduce you (or hopefully reintroduce you) to two incredible Black Canadians,
Oscar Peterson and
Portia White. Both paved the way for other Black Canadians. During a time where the colour of your skin largely determined your success, both persevered because their talents were undeniable!
