We interview Said Abdullahi, UNDP Somalia Technical Police Specialist, about how his organization supports the development of police institutions in Somalia, and the support provided in reporting and prosecuting crimes against women and girls.
We also interview Fatima Abdulkadir Ali, Legal Police Advisor in Puntland, about what inspired her to join the police as well as how she is promoting community policing in Puntland. She also talks about why it is important to have women in the ranks of the police, and how this can be critical in addressing in the delivery of justice for survivors of rape and other forms of violence against women and girls.
