East VS West. What it's like hunting on either side of the Rocky Mountains.

When John was 18 years old, he packed up and headed west with visions of monster bull elk and mule deer around every corner. What he got was much different than he expected. On this weeks episode John talks with his old college friend and hunting buddy Nathan Jasper about the differences of hunting out west and in good ol Oklahoma. An Idaho native, Jasper has made a few trips to Oklahoma to hunt with John as well, so the two talk about expectations versus reality of the vastly different hunting styles and techniques they have encountered while hunting the others' home turf. This podcast is a good balance of tactics and information, with a few embarrassing stories along the way.
